By 2023, our mission in Ghana had reached a pivotal point, with significant national influence and a wide-reaching media presence. The year marked the completion of more than 15 large-scale evangelistic campaigns, which saw the baptism of over 2,000 individuals across the nation. These campaigns targeted both urban and rural communities, and the response was overwhelming, with thousands coming to faith and embracing the teachings of Christ.
Our wellness centers expanded to over 10 locations throughout Ghana, providing consistent health services such as blood pressure and glucose screenings, as well as health counseling. The centers played an essential role in addressing public health concerns and promoting wellness education. By this time, we had also begun to incorporate holistic health practices into our community outreach, ensuring that both the spiritual and physical needs of individuals were met.
In 2023, we also made significant strides in media outreach. Our evangelistic campaigns were broadcast nationally on Hope TV Ghana, as well as streamed live on YouTube. This national broadcast allowed us to reach a wider audience, including individuals in remote areas who would not have otherwise had access to our services. The success of the broadcast campaigns demonstrated the power of media in extending our reach and connecting with a broader demographic.
The School of Leadership Institute, which had trained over 500 students by this time, continued to thrive, producing new leaders who were empowered to make a lasting difference in their communities. We also continued to plant new churches, with 5 new congregations established in key areas of Ghana. Our continued support of local churches, leadership training, and community-based initiatives made 2022 one of the most impactful years for our mission in Ghana.
